Last year a survey was given to all parents/guardians of Woodland students. The results showed that they preferred to simply give donations to the school in place of the Great American Fundraiser.
Our goal is to raise $15,000. Please give any amount that you can – give what you would have spent on wrapping paper, cookies, candies, etc. from the Great American Fundraiser. Also, check to see if your employer will match your contribution. The PTA is a non-profit organization. Tax receipt is available upon request (contact Jen or Jenny – see below).
If we meet our goal Toni Beckler, Assistant Principal, has agreed to sleep overnight on the roof of Woodland (when the weather is nicer).
Cash and checks are acceptable. Please make checks payable to Woodland PTA. All contributions are due Friday, November 30th. Contact Jen at [email protected] or Jenny at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Include the bottom portion of flyer from Wednesday mail with your donation and return to your child’s teacher. A prize will be awarded to the class that raises the most money. Thanks!
